Camshaft Manufacturing Defect - Brake Power Assistance System Failure

Hi, I receive a registered letter from Auto Bavaria asking me to send my vehicle (purchased mid-2013) in to fix a possible camshaft manufacturing defect and that the brake power assistance system on the vehicle may fail. They need to inspect, rework the inlet camshaft or replace the inlet camshaft & the vacuum pump which will take 4-35 hours at zero cost. Did anyone else receive such notification? Appreciate your response.

Mine was manufactured in Jan 2014, sent in for inspection for this particular concern, no issue.
