Hi All. I went to see a 320iS Manual today year 1993. The car is in a reasonable condition, owned by 1 owner since he brought it back frm UK. Couldnt find any rusted part and the car was painted metallic black over its original british green. The interior definately needs to be done up a bit as the fabric seats is all worn out. The engine bay looks clean and no major accident. The owner claim the car is accident free but I can see there is some minor accident at the left rear. Just would like to know is there, any special attention to look for when buying a 2nd hand E36 320iS especially on the wear and tear parts, engine bay and under carriage. What are the common problem that this model have. Appreciate all your 2cents...cheersssss

Bro, if you don't mind can you PM me what is the asking price? I am also looking at a 1994 318 IS Auto and don't really know what is the amount that I should offer.

Yeah, remember that E36 M3 Cabrio that I mentioned earlier? I heard the seller decided to withdraw.

Now there is another W202 C36 AMG original in the market. 280bhp!!!

bro ...car looks decent ...but nothing much you can expect from an almost 17 yrs car .... wear and tear is part of the game for such cars ..... if the price is right and within ya budget ...GO FOR IT ...

just mod up with an extra rm10K.... bodykits , paintwork , upholsery ...and engine lubs and belts replaced .... you'll be smilling away ...

all the best

Ok currently I am using a 320i coupe (2nd purchase), the first purchase e36 320i coupe non vanos was a nightmare auto gearbox and overheating, managed to sell it.

Got myself a 2nd purchase a e36 320i coupe vanos, the car is in excellent condition, encountered the following problem
1. Power Window
2. Overheating, replaced the thermostat
3. Wear and tear is normal

The only problem with a 320i is that is is under powered, I am ok with it as the car is used by my wife, highway cruising is excellent due to the 6 potter, milleage clocked 224k, engine overhauled once by the previous owner.

All the best in the purchase, try get the vanos version as the car is slightly lighter on pick up.

saw this car today near bangsar close to 6pm.
already bought the car selvahraje46?
