Brake lights

Which locally sold (can be AB/re-cond/others) e60 has the brake light that when brake hard, more lights will come on. but when brake lightly, normal brake lights will come on.Or is this feature only overseas cars got?

Beats me bro... I don't know that there is such a high-tech feature in E60...

Brake Force Display.
It's supposed to be enabled via idrive software setting (not user but coding by workshop).
Is it legal in Malaysia? If not, then they probably won't enable it.

Thanks Stranger for verifying that it does exist in a BMW. I thought I was seeing/hearing things about it. The question now is, does it exist in some "higher end" bmw models in malaysia.

I am not sure whether this feature is also in the 1 series, felix. but again, is it all 1 series, or just those in malaysia that dont have it.

As far as I can remember, I read that all E60's from 2004 onwards were equipped with this. The difference was whether it was activated in the software.
I could never verify that cause when I talked to my workshop supervisor back in 2005, they looked lost and didn't seem to know understand the term BFD.
