Brake Lights Always ON.

I never do anything and suddenly my Brake Lights always ON. And there is light indicator ON with two small light at the back of the warning sign. Haiya ..... Any suggestion for 'do-it-yourself' method before going to mechanic ?

What car ? Brake light switch stuck may be . In my car (E32) when brake pedal release it will hit switch to turn brake light off.

bro, u mean handbrake light? if brake light i think your brakepad almost finish and its time to change, if handbrake light i think your fluid is low, just topup abit and see how

Iqlima, my udm is e46 328i. I also tot is the brake pedal but i tried to shake it with leg but no use. It happened when I drove around 7pm and open the fog lights. Then the warning sign came out (with the two small lights at behind). And the brake lights always on whenever i start the engine.

Mouse, it's not handbrake light. Then handbrake warning lights is another one. I pretty sure it's not.

There is LKM is my car which control all kind of light. Not sure about E46

Most likely it's the brake switch at the brake padel that has gone bad/stuck. You could try to do some adjustments or have it changed.

This unit works when you step on the brake padel and a spring will activate the brake light switch.

Hi guys... fixed that light. Vincent & Iqlima rite, just the break pedal switch stuck. It' free to fix it. Just that i'm not pro.
