brake guide rubber boot

where i can buy the part in the pic.View attachment 14673or can i modify use some other maker's rubber boot? like wira etc.?need littlle bit help here from sifu's and DIY masters...

But look on a bright side, for some others makes, this small small things are almost impossible to get.

i think RM45 includes the metal guide pins.. I recall buying a set before... see the part diagram, #10 consist of the guide pin, screw and the rubber boot.

actually earlier they quote me rm 55 for the whole set #10 for a side. so for a pair of caliper is rm 110.
when i ask just for the rubber boot only they quote me rm 45/4pcs. and to day when i want to confirm the order and make payment it comes to rm 45/2pcs.
in this case i better buy the whole set #10 for rm 55.

btw u bought rm 45 for one side or for both caliper?? pls advice.

same answer no stock.

Me just changed mine last week. The mechanic sourced an alternative 'rubber booth' from another make of car from Soon Huat (Sea Park, PJ), but mech told me the spare part shop fella refused to reveal which make/model if car except to say equivalent replacement part. The part cost $22 per side (2 pcs). In fact thevreason I changed the booth was due to an earlier brake failure in which my entire front left brake pad went MISSING. A harrowing experience when I lost my brake entirely, only relied on downshift & hsndbrake to stop! Luckily it happened when nearing my house (when driving speed lower) and not earlier when on my way home from Nilai speeding at h/way!! Thank God no mishap which can cause harm to third parties. Sends shiver to me recalling back the moment.

I'm sure if you go to those bigger parts shops, they can find a compatible replacement, provided you have a good sample to show them..

went to one spare part at port klang. the guy managed to find some other makers boot which looks same. but the ID little bit smaller. and he just manged to find 3 pcs. will check with him for the missing one pc.

The dealer dont want to tell from what model the boots.

But anyway its settle. perfect fit
