Hi guys,My e30 m40, brake fluid light (3rd from the right on the instrument cluster) is blinking intermittently at times.Fluid seems ok, no visible leak, everything seems fine. What can it be? I notice it happens more when driving on uneven roads.I'm meant to go to for the Fraser's drive.....doubt I got time to take and get it checked. What do you guys think? Rgds

The indicator can mean 2 things:
1 - brake lining sensor
2 - brake fluid level.

If these 2 things are ok.. Then it can be the grounding.. Car old aledi. contact points can become oxidised and not conducting the current as it should be...

sorry guys.....was cleaning up my engine bay (prepping for the drive) when I realized braking fluid leaking from the lower pump.

Damn.....had to give it a miss....

Thanks for the input anyways....
