adusss...just noticed my RH rear brake disc got scored...

nothing a 250 girt sandpaper cannot do...

nothing much I can do about the scoring on the disc except see if it smoothes out over time and distance.

safety is of paramount

Was there any noise (when braking) before you discovered the scored brake disc?

After replacing my front disc brake pads (Textar), noise occurred occasionally during light braking. Replaced all 4 disc rotors with Zimmerman and noise still there. Previous set of front disc pad was also Textar but no noise. Any idea?

hi bert...i noticed this visually.

Noise during braking is generally associated to the brake pads. The el cheapo ones tend to make most noise.Get ori BMW ones.
My front pads are also textar and they have just started to squeal like girls at times. But I can live with that.Just have to find a weekend to give the pads a good sand down and see.

I like your jack and stand. How much did you get it for?
hi unker J,
jack stand kenot remember la.long time ago but around rm60 each i think lar.
the low profile jack rm 350....very the good la this jack.unlike the normal small 3 ton jack sold in Giant.that one kenot slide under the car lar...have to use the ori car jack first and then only can slide the Giant jack on the other side....

Just notice the S-hook that you use to hang the caliper. I use wire. haha. Nice trick.
