hi, ive test driven a friends e30 in seremban and it tends to vibrate at speeds around 100-140kph. it was smooth before it hits 100 then it vibrates.. the vibration seems to slow down if the wheel is turn into a corner. what could be the problem besides the wheels? it is running on 16inch ac's and eibach spring. thanks yall

how about the engine, is it ori BMW or turbo charged transplanted engine? please share more info/specs about the car so that we can provide you with possible solutions?

im sorry, its a M40 engine, auto, everything sounded ok when driving under 100kph only after it went above it that it starts to vibrate. it might have something to do with the alignment but we have to wait and see. could it be that the rim is dented? but if it is, shouldnt the wheel be vibrating at a lower speed too?

last i try my car... rb20... but axle is e32....
in 190km/h may be coz the meter show only at 180...
i got same prob like this guy....

High speed vibration in my car was traced to the aft wheel bearings. had them replaced during suspension overhaul.

if is vibrate between the range of 100-140kph... try to check your rim, maybe just a on-wheel balancing will do...
