yes they are famous in europe (usually goes by the name touring or station wagon)
Rented one for about a month while in europe.
Very handy to have accessible bootspace without getting out of the car.
Maybe malaysians in general dont really like the look similar to "kereta mayat".

saw even some expats who've brought in their e90 320d once in mudah.

nice,practical and uncommon to have one..

Why are wagons or touring not popular in Malaysia? More cargo space=good? Right?

i'd love a wagon anytime... if i could find one e34 touring, i would've get them. i just love the clean lines all the way to the back.. but most ppl don't like it, cause it looks like a hearse.

to own a wagon car regardless what brand is a trend nowadays. can see many adverts on volvo wagon in mudah and the price aint cheap. personally i like wagon, last time i surfed in mudah there's one a4 2004 wagon. quite rare.

In Malaysia it is called Kereta Mayat. Some even say Nirvana Car.
