Hi All,I'm looking for the above... quite like the design and sound produced. But when I tried to get quote from local BMW dealer, they say it's only for 330 or 335.Then I saw on youtube someone installed on his E92 325i... he said that this exhaust has negative pressure valve at the end and as long as you leave this open, the exhaust will work on 325i.Anyone done this b4? Hope you can share thoughts and comments. Thanks :top:

Below are some reviews i got from one of our fellow member Gilajazz and yes you can get it done on 325's

BMW Performance Exhaust cost around RM4000. The UK version, comes with d back silencer only. US ver comes with the back silencer, back section pipe & a small silencer attached to the pipe and more expensive of course. Mid range power tarik fr 3000-7000 rpm is superb! Lovely bassy note and growl when u floor throttle! BMW experts hv tuned d sound perfectly...deep but not loud! Power in the low 1000 rpm is not much different but of course our cars can reach 3000 rpm easily & thats when d silencer & air intake system take over!

BMW Performance Intake System is around RM3700. Comes with a carbon air intake, a large K&N washable filter, a windscreen air reflector which will channel air into yr intake system using the air from yr windscreen wiper area (superb engineering). So yr air is coming in fr 2 directions, 90% fr the front, 10% fr the windscreen wiper area! Not much sound as intake is housed inside the box. But u will also feel the midrange pull like wild horses on the loose.

its on my soon to do list :top:

I think that's a one size fit all BMW Performance rear box. Not plug and play though, need to cut and weld. 318 also can use..

wow... thanks for the enlightenment VKS :)

If u don't mind me asking, can u pm me the place to get the parts u mentioned at the prices u mentioned?

That would be really helpful as I think I'd wanna put them in my 1st bimmer.

You can get the exhaust system from Obermaier KL and intake from Stuggart Auto PJ(maybe theres other places too but i know only these two so far)...If you are from Penang i heard the Penang guys were saying theres a place here the other day during TT, maybe you can try..Why dont you join us for TT on 12th..refer to Penang TT thread..we can borak there.

The windscreen wiper area I believe is an outlet for the AF box to draw a small amount of air out [hot air] from the box to create a suction vacuum so the AF box will draw more air from the front to create a positive pressure in the AF box surrounding the AF element area. Same concept as the E9x M3 vent on the bonnet.

This is an aFe Stage 2 after market AF for E90/E92 M3, check out the top vent.

The BWM Performance filter looks like this.. have not explore the windscreen [right hand corner] vent personally though.

Hi Whiteknight88,

How's the feeling of the car once u upgrade to both BMW performance intake & exhaust? How about the intake alone? Next time you service your car, how do you change the air filter? or is it washable like K&N?

How about exhaust? Is it as easy as a bolt-on unit with enough clearance for M-Sport bodykit?

Appreciate your feedback
