Anyone know where I can get prices of new and second hand BMWs in Singapore. Moving down in the next few months, thinking of getting a car there so that I can drive home comfortably monthly.

regards,

$ to $, its cheaper to own luxury cars in Spore. And you can pretty much know the depreciation coz they have a way to calculate the value of yr cars.

Only expensive is r/tax and fuel

Either which way, pre NAP,post NAP...

We are getting royally screwed

Just can't justify paying for a new car

A brand new E90 325i in US costs something like 33-34k

True...I paid about $34,000 OTR (including 3% VA sales tax, title, registrations) for my 325i (negotiated 6-7% off MSRP...don't forget MSRP is negotiable) This is with extra cost metallic paint, step, adaptive xenons, PDC and sat radio, special order.

Actually, US has the cheapest car prices (feature per feature, car per car) in the world. The US car in its basic form is quite highly specced including standard moonroof, wood trim, Hi Fi audio system, multi-function wheel, leatherette interior etc.

Not sure how ro why this is (emphasis on volume, perhaps). Case in point, my e90 is way cheaper than equivalent in Germany, and close to 50% cheaper than the same car in the UK. This is including the 4 yr/50k mile warranty and full maintenance program.

Actually, sad to say...it may very well be that the non-us markets looks to be subsidizing the US markets.
