Abe Izam,

The sad thing about most of these cars is that they seem to be in pretty bad shape externally and some even internally. Chasing those Wira/Kancil/Wajalution ? They'll be lucky if their cars do not fall apart midway thru the chase itself. Wonder where all the money claimed for maintenance goes anyway!

Not really .. Some of the cars are in pretty good shape + imported models ie 5 spd etc. They select the cars before converting it.

Before it goes out on the street - it goes thru 100% check. There are unmarked cars as well.

Most of the cars that goes into the workshops are for regular servicing, tires, a bit here and there. There did not spend on 'cosmetic' eg if the door creaks, so what .. If it is beyond repair, most likely they will write it off.

Some here have obviously more things to be fixed than just the exterior. You come JB la one day, la ... we go jalan-jalan cuci mata. But it's true that most of them are the higher spec models ... a few E36 318iS and E34s with 5 speed Slushbox. Lucky buggers !!!

I've seen some of these cars at AB Glenmarie service centre. Looks like AB accept these cars for servicing and repairs.
