bmw dreamer: need sifu advice on E60

To all sifu,i am looking to buy E60. Found one mSports 08 local spec on mudah. Need advice on the following:- clocking at 90k mileage, price about 175k, is that reasonable?- how do i know its local spec and not other like uk or japan? They told me from auto bavaria- how do i identify thats the original msports? I knw black interior n steering.any other?- what is the default tire profile for this model? I notice owner have changed it to 235/30/19 front n 275/30/19 rear- usually what need to be check?is that sufficient if i send the car to auto bavaria to do full diagnostic?- any other advice?Sorry ask so many questions and hopefully i got reply from u guys soon. Thanks in advance.

Try to procure the VIN no. of the said vehicle and if you were to key-in the VIN no. into the database (some of the forummers here has it) quite a lot of details about the car is made available, including whether it is an M-sport version, UK or Japan or local SKD model, etc. One more conspicuous telltale sign which distinguishes M-sport over non-M sports is the window panels. M-sports have matt-black panels whereas non-M sports version has chrome panels.

i think it is valid that a 525i msports 08 running on N52 engine, right? N53 engine is definitely not for Malaysia local spec, pls correct me if i am wrong

there are UK recond 525i's with N53 engine. Not really recommended as our fuel quality is not up to par. Best way to know is by the VIN number.

BTW M-Sport consist of the following:-

1)Shadowline trim (can be matt or glossy black)
2)Anthracite headliner (not really black but very dark grey headliner)
3)M-Sport seats with thigh support
4)3-spoke steering wheel (the rim of the steering wheel is thicker and also has thumb support)
5)Silver cube interior trim (there are japan spec m-sport which has dark wood trim instead)
6)18inch sport rims
7)M-sport door trim

usually few K difference is quite common in the market, if they sell me 10k cheaper, i don't dare to buy also
i think u bought in Jan, not sure whether you have survey whether that was the market price as a lot of dealers still stick back to the price as in end 2012
