Jaymic's LPG Rally CarWorks Gp2 GRP wheelarch extensions and front spoiler. Fully seam welded, strengthened and gusseted FIA roll cage (front, rear and door bars) tied into A and B posts, etc. Painted in Polaris silver metallic (two pack acrylic) GRP bonnet and boot lid.Lightweight racing seats Racing style instrumentation and switch gear. Plumbed in electronically activated fire extinguisher system. Battery relocated behind passenger seat. Rewired with fuse box and relays, etc inside. car Racing style pedals and foot rests, etc. Carpet and headlining custom made by Jaymic. Alloy door panels, rear side panels and parcel shelf. Full harness seat belts. Battery isolating master switch.
 
Engine

Dynomometer tested : 204 bhp @ 7,100 rpm (gross) 185 lbs/ft @ 6,200 rpm (gross) 2013cc in line 4 cylinder BMW M10 type (2002). Single overhead camshaft (Schrick 316º-11.9 mm lift). Adjustable camshaft sprocket for varying valve timing. 1 mm oversize and tuliped inlet valves - 1 per cylinder (47 mm). Standard size tuliped exhaust valves - 1 per cylinder (38 mm). Hardened valves seats suitable for lead free fuels. Cylinder head ported, gasflowed and combustion chamber volumes balanced Competition cylinder head gasket. Forged high compression pistons (11.5:1) with valve pockets cut. Pistons lightened and balanced with total seal rings. Lightened and balanced standard connecting rods. Competition big end bearings. Lightened and balanced standard crankshaft Individual throttle butterfly for each cylinder with air bleed equalisation. Free flow air filter LPG venturis located upstream of butterflies. Electronic cooling fan with thermostatic control. High efficiency competition cored radiator. Oil cooler with thermostatic control.
 
Fuel System

Dedicated LPG (not dual fuel) Twin LPG tanks (one quick release) Stako/Icom OMVL. LPG reducer and multi-valve, etc. OMVL Venturi type LPG mixers (4) AEB LPG control electronics. Installed to LP Gas Association COP11 standards LPG rated at equivalent to 112 octane (approx)
 
Ignition System

Distributorless wasted spark system controlled by PC programmable, 3 dimensional computerised ignition system. TDC collected from sensor positioned on toothed crankshaft sprocket. Closed loop, charge/coolant temperature sensitive map with cold start and cold running parameters. Throttle potentiometer built into butterfly bodies 4 cylinder coil pack (one for each cylinder) 8.5 mm low resistance competition spark plug leads Bosch Super 4 spark plugs.


Transmission

Lightened 228 mm flywheel. Competition strength organic clutch 5 speed close ratio (dog leg) Getrag gearbox. Limited slip differentials (75% lock) choice of two different ratio units. Strengthened driveshafts.
 
Exhaust

4 into 1 big bore exhaust manifold with thermal lagging Custom built big bore exhaust system with single, straight through silencer box.

Suspension

Adjustable ride height front struts with 21/2"ID race springs 20 point adjustable dampers built into struts. Adjustable camber/castor strut top mounts with spherical bearings. Strengthened track control arms/radius arms. Adjustable and rose jointed front anti-roll bar (21mm). Alloy strut brace. Polyurethane bushings throughout (front and rear). Rear suspension top mounts turreted for vertical positioning of suspension unit. Converted to rear coil-over suspension units with adjustable ride height, 21/4"ID race springs and 20 point adjustable damping. Camber adjusting rear subframe with uprated mounting bushes. Adjustable and rose jointed rear anti-roll bar (19mm).
 
Brakes

Twin master cylinders with in car adjustable bias (front to rear). Hydraulic handbrake Ventilated and cross drilled front discs (Brembo). Fast road/race front pads (Pagid) 4 pot front callipers. Rear brakes converted to disc brakes Solid cross drilled rear discs (Brembo). Fast road/race rear pads, (Pagid) 2 pot sliding callipers. Teflon flexible hoses with stainless steel braiding, Kunifer rigid brake piping throughout. Racing type brake fluid (high boiling point).


Wheels & Tyres

7" x 15" Revolution 5 spoke light alloy wheels. Kumho V700 205/50/ZR15 tyres (front) scrubbed to 4 mm Kumho V700 225/50/ZR15 tyres (rear) scrubbed to 4mm.

- Max Power 170PS @ 5,800 rpm, 179ib/ft Torque @ 4,000 rpm.
