Audi Q5 2.0T Quattro-Is it that good?

Drove my cousin's Q5 down Genting two weeks ago - still smiling from the drive! This is one awesome machine man... Comfy as ever….. push the dynamic button – and the Quattro thunders you down the bends like a charm and it pulls you away in pure astonishment on the straights! For 300k – it’s the best bet for your buck! Q5 rocks dude....

Bro, get the Q5 lar...first and foremost you will not buy a new BMW, so why worry bout the new X3 (is there going to be a new X3???) kekeke.

Then remap the Q5 to run higher boost, 280hp is very possible :)

I believe the lower pricing of the RX is due to the zero import duties for Japo-cars above 3.0-litres that was introduced in 2008?

the q5 is very nice overall.. 7 speed dsg is a plus..

however, it's very disappointing to see too much plastic parts in the cabin, unlike its b8 brother.. they just 'stretched' the a4 parts eg door panels, dashboard, etc to fit the taller molds.. we can now see all the plastic covers/casings especially around the seats and door panels, as soon as u open the door as the height of the car is raised compared to the b8.. bad..

ive put a booking when i decided to sell my daily runner.. lately been thinking of pulling out.. no car! any other suggestions? thought of tiguan, but no dsg.. damn.. maybe wait for the 2.0t b8 for 290k later this yr?
 
i agree with FF that the X5 is over-priced but at the end of the day, you are paying for the brand...can't really compare rx350 and x5. i just bought myself the rx and i had an x5 when i was in dubai....they are not in the same league.

Ya wait for the 2.0T B8. How come you sold your Golf GTI la? A few folks lately have been selling off their modded GTis (Ken included).

Yup, as good as the RX is, branding aside, the performance and the interior quality are not up to par compared to the X5.

I've tested the B8 1.8T but not the Q5. I am just scared that I might lose my mind again and buy 2 of those SUVs.

I thought he hasn't received his yet. No, I am not in a hurry to sign the deal too soon. Rumour has it that interest rate will come down after the fourth quarter this year. So, I am just waiting for the correct timing.

Jangan. Go for the CRV instead of teh captiva.

Everyone will at some point in time own an MPV and mine was an Opel Fontera. What an experience.
