Thought I could share the apps that I have been using to locate all the AES locations. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note. So for Android:1. AES Cam location - using GPS and google map to show all the camera locations. Apps will not prompt when approaching a camera.2. AES Camera - Apps will prompt when approaching a camera. However, as the GPS signal is quite weak along the highway, do expect some delays in notification. Anyone can share the apps for iphones?

I am testing out AES Detector. Tried it out on the KL Seremban Higway- Jln Ipoh today.
It got 2 notifications right, other notices i just could not see the cameras....

will test out more ...

Try Waze, in a way better than AES Detector because it is directional. AES detector gives a warning regardless of which side you are travelling on. The downside is you need data for Waze.

I will give it a go. Downloading it now onto my galaxy note .... lets see ...

Waze is pretty good. realtime traffic updates plus it notifies you on the presence of those speed traps/cams once another user sends a report. but as willy5 said, it needs a data connection and drains your battery damn fast!

waze is too slow. and if you are travelling around areas without 3G. you cannot get the latest update.

proper GPS maps update should do the trick. but the only issue is to keep switching the GPS on everytime you drive.

Guys, I have tried waze. I think its just too complicated... AES Detector is simple / more straightforward.

Waze does not give you enough warning distance especially if you are traveling a bit faster. Garmin warnings (by malfreemap) is irritating cos there are multiple warnings for old / nonexistent traps and stupid things like seatbelt, road tax traps, speed limit reminders, sharp bends. (If you dont wear seatbelts then you deserve to get a ticket or die, if you cant drive and need "sharp bend" warnings then get off the road!)

It's possible to remove the POI of those warning you don't need.
