Hi all,My 528i is a 2000 UK specced with a Park Distance Control (PDC). It went kaput the 2nd week I took delivery of the car last November. Now everytime I put in reverse, the sound is a continuous high pitch sound. I read from the owners manual that it is the sound of the PDC malfunctioning. Any one ever repaired this? What is the culprit typically and what's the damage are we looking at? I was thinking of disconnecting it altogether. I don't mind living without it.
