Aug.17, 2011 by Rikk in BMW ArticlesThe people from a BMW dealership in Oakville recently reported that an abandoned building somewhere around the neighboring town of Ajax hides a former dealership with two legendary BMW models. Inside the abandoned building was sitting a BMW 635CSi (E24) along a 5 Series (E28), Citation Motors, the owner of the BMW dealership abandoning it in 1988. Citation Motors abandoned the building in late 1980s as they lost the license to sell BMW models and moved to Toronto.

At that time, the dealership was given to a German businessman but it was abandoned for unknown reasons. The models in question were unused for more than 20 years but they still look like brand-new.

Of course, they will need some repairs in order to work properly but most likely the legendary models will remain in a showroom as exhibits. Moreover, the shop of this BMW showroom remained in the still “frozen” state, another detail which proves that the German businessman had no interest to sell the models, the shop or the whole building.

We have to thank the people from the Ontario-based BMW dealership for this finding and enjoy the photos above which remind us of that beautiful period.

beautiful. but i think someone is taking care of the car and the building. otherwise all tyres will be flat after being unused for 20years.

yes, someone's been taking care of the place and the cars... Impossible to stay dustless and the chrome trims still gleaming if it truly have been unattended to for 20 years...
