Was driving around yesterday and just popped into Bubbles Motorsport at Setapak. Got to view a BMC Air Intake system at RM1800.00. Any views on this??

The price can go somewhere around rm1600-1700 :D
my bro bought fr exotic mods at lower price (utilize ur negotiation skill la)
you will notice improvement in acceleration but the downside is that like what bro sachseelan said.. Noisy!
I had actually installed in my E60.. Admit that it's rather noisy but love the groaning sound. Just make sure the Home Ministry (if u have any) approve it ok?

Astro......it's the CDA one.............very tempting lah.........In addition, I got to view the H&R ARB......I believe it is the 38mm one........wahlauee.........very heavy loh!!!!!.......but $$$$$$

I have mine for almost two years now ... The ROAR of the engine makes it so very worthwhile :D BUT in my opinion for outright performance you better off using a panel filter by K&N or BMC as our stock intake is already drawing air from the outside while a enclose airbox like the BMC will draw air in from the inside the engine bay (unless you have space to put in the Cold Air Intake hose provided) ... However it makes no difference on night driving or when the weather is cooler larrr (morning or baru abis hujan :D)
Plus with a panel filter it is soooo much easier cleaning and oiling the filter as opposed to using a enclosed CF casing like the BMC... You have to unscrew it :D

chewkies...
wat u mean awesome?
is it the noise level or FC performance?

Noise not so much cause maybe can't hear :( but in terms of performance...yes...feels smoother and more responsive...like they advertised...direct consistent air flow...

If u r into carbon fiber intake, i have the simota carbon air intake for sale. This is an enclosed casing for the air filter and a housing coming from the front grille.
