Advise on Possible Leak Passenger Side Rear

Hi all My e36/320/6 has been left idle for the last 2 weeks, this morning when I moved the car, noticed that there were visible oil on my floor at the passenger rear side. What could be the problem? Is this serious?

could be leaking shocks/absorbers...

Checked 3 weeks back shocks was ok, and the car did not moved for the last 2 weeks, I will have to recheck again

more info pls... a lot of oil or just a few drops? colour of oil? maybe brake fluid hose or ??

anyway better get it checked wt ur mech...safe!

A lot of oil, color not able to trace.

could be from the axle ... try peeping below the axle and you may be able to spot it ...

Jack up the car and check for old oil stain. Trace it to the source. Sometime it could come from the front area.

Oil stain are usually from:-
1. Power steering leak
2. Oil seal leak
3. A/T or gearbox seal leak.
4. Engine Oil seal leak
5. Axle Oil seal leak
6. Shock Absorber leak
7. Brake fluid near slave piston.
