nope, but from the pic it looks nice. better go there n see it for your self. bring a reliable mechanic along and check the car. Also take down the VIm number and check online for details bro
this is the non facelift model.

From the interior colour, this seems like an UK import (mine one also light grey in colour).
Well, normally first thing to check is whether the car got complete import/AP document or not (this is important for your name transfer or car selling in future).
Then please check all the door trim condition, mine one most of the internal clips (also its holders) and plastic part have been broken and, quite troublesome to fix it.
Of course then more important is the engine parts and gearbox condition, may need some scanning to determine it.
I suggest you may look for bro Tweiboon (one of the regular forumer here), he should willing to help you check the car if he's free.

Nothing wrong with year 2000 & reg as 2001, this is normal when importer bring in from other country they make it one year younger to make it more valuable than ori year.

I was talking about manufacturing year not registration year. This was made in 2000 and registered in 2006

Here's the vin if you're interested FF15121. Looks like it's a Japan M-sport spec import.

I had checked out other car from this dealer before. Mileage had been clocked (saw an original AB receipt tucked in the service booklet) and the dealer insist it's original. When point out the receipt, he changed story and said the mileage don't matter, as long the car is in good condition. I would agree but no service record and no workshop visit but the one he frequent nearby. Not wanting to risk it, so I walked. The interior is one of the better condition I'd seen though.

Hope it worked out better for you.

Never came across any dealer that allowed to take their cars to our own workshop. That's why I'm reluctant about this car.

Yes, I am talking about year of of manufacture, my car it is, year of make 2000 (actual 1999), year of reg in m'sia 2008, when my car on the road in m"sia already 9 years old. even some car their make it up to three year younger, I am in car industry Lah, haha.

Here is how several of my friends negotiated with the dealer.

1) they expressed sincerity on purchasing the vehicle by placing a 10% deposit on the vehicle with the clause that the full transaction will go through if the mechanic check returns back positively
2) the dealers themselves drove to the mechanic of choice, my friend of course paid for the checkup
3) if everything is good then they go ahead with the deal.

That's how 4 of my friends did it when they purchased especially recon cars from the shops.

Actually if you want a quick check about the 'internal' condition of the car, you don't even need to drive it to the workshop. Just plug in a scanner (if you have it or any of your friend or foreman you know can borrow you) and it'll take <5mins to know the car identity, actual mileage and also most of the sensor and component condition.
With another round of test drive you may feel the condition of the real engine performance, steering feel, suspension condition etc.
