hi everyone, i need advice whether to buy this year or next year. would the price drop next year for year 2001 unreg bmw M-sport 320-2.2. and what is the market price for full spec.anyone know where to shop beside ming heng & sg.this is my first time to convert to continental car after 10 years with japanese car. some say if you drive e udm, you better have few thousand spare cash to maintain it.

pssst: can we know something abt you first..... traditionally, pls do yr introduction in the Newbie section

sorry coz so excited...just introduce myself in the newbie section..thanks yeop

carefull of this used imported cars. I had one before 320i 2.2 and in the begining I had to spend almost 15-20k repairing the parts. The worst was the fuel pump. If I were you I'd either buy brand new or buy it from someone you konw who has maintained the car well. These used car dealers are very good at covering up the bad parts of the car.

true, car dealer will just make sure the car can move. Although there a good ones out there.

mm.. need to check the car very very VERY detailed.. incase u have problem later.. susah woo..

Bro Rossi,

Be EXTRA careful in checking all the documents. Honestly, I cannot find any dealers who are honest to buyers. Given a choice, i would rather buy from friends. If you intend to get an unregistered one, i would suggest you go to more reputable dealers. If anything goes wrong with the car, at least you know who to look for.

i gave up on unregistred and just got myself a brand new e90 from AB.

BMW parts doesnt come cheap. Cant compare to Jap cars. If maintenence is something that worries you, then you might wanna consider something else. ;)

Everything comes with a price. :)

hi guys, i bought my car at beucar kajang. 1st time owned the car, minor problem happened, luckily the used car give 3 months warranty and they rectify the problem. so far so good. hopefully it will last longer

thanks guys

thanks for the advice guys, so which reputable dealer should i go to. i should bring my mechanic along with me to test drive b4 i put my deposit.

Bro Rossi,

To be honest, I dont really know which dealers can be trusted. But i know for sure that those 2 dealers that you mentioned earlier should be avoided since we had bad experience with them.

NEVER pay your deposit in a rush. Apart from getting a mechanic to test drive, do ask for all the relevant documents. Especially the age of the car.
I am sure the salesman will tell you there are other buyers interested in the car. Most of the time he is just bulls...ting and wants you to commit immediately.

be careful dude...take your sweet time to hunt for one..no need to hurry...it almost take me 1 year to scoop around after so many viewing, test drive...word of advise here is make sure you test the car long enough ...more than 30 mins..the most culprit is the heat..once it reach enought temperatures...all kind of funny sound will come out especially from the front bonnet...then you can narrow down your search...& don't skip on the documentation as it also important...Goodluck..

Let's put a gathering and hunt your bmw together. hahahaha

p.s joking only.

bro..try RAS NIAGA..its in Jln Semarak, KL..can get good deal there..n there is some 320i 2.2..droped by the shop last weekend and they have 2 units.. if i'm not mistaken.price about rm149K...GOOD LUCK....

im not in a hurry to get one but is true or not, finance company will increase the rate to 3.5% minimum rate. anyone out there who work for finance co. can confirm this rumours. if the rate still maintain around 2.8 to 3% for 2007,maybe i take my time in seaching for my udm.
