A piece of Plastic left in a GB oil sump , what will happen next...???

Hello bimmers....Need helpThe thrill started on last Tuesday as i want to check the ATF level , when i realized that the deep stick was torn and broken so that i cant see the level of the oil at the marked level...as an alternative i put a binding tape to wrap the end of the deep stick in propose to see the level mark of the ATF, as i pulled out the deep stick and left inside a half inch of binding tape inside the sump. Is it will harm anything inside GB..??? Help...

I wouldn't recommend driving the car until you can remove the ATF sump and get both the broken dipstick AND the binding tape out. Tow the car to your usual workshop and have the sump removed & drained.

^^^ Yup rpmnut is correct ... DO NOT drive the car until you've removed the oil sump and recover back the debris!
