Saw it at MT n the seller claim it the only unit is Malaysia. Is it true? BTW The car is verrrrrrrrry nice indeed...

Sure bro, V12 5L .... will be damn $$$ to own (road tax) + drive (drink fuel likes anchor draft ...) :D

BMW 8 SERIES CSI (M) 94 RM- black, Only 1 in M`sia, 6 speed manual, V12 5 litre, 400HP, l/mileage, gd cond., acc-free, 19" M-Tech s/rims, valuable sport car for BMW collector, serious buyer only, call for best price.

How much will the roadtax be ...

Ahh ... the CSI! The car that the 8 shud have always been. That's as close as we ever got to an M8. The real CSI came with a 5.6 litre V12 fettled by the Motorsports boys ... not sure if the one on MT is the real deal or else. 535i, for the fun of it, be prepared to shell out RM 13.8K for the roadtax alone annually.

Cheers.

i dunno about the one in the ad, haven't seen the ad.
The boss of dai ichi is driving the 850csi.
5litre V12 6 speed.
with 2 HKS megaflow air filters on each bank of cylinders and M power sticker at the doors, replica 7 series M Parallel rims, 8csi badge hehehe

I driven it and it's very refined and a really nice car to cruise with. but way too linear with the long diff i think

13.8K a year = 1.15K a month excl insurance ...

Hmmmmm ... let me check my money tree .... :nyehehe:

I think there are more then ONE in Malaysia as the car lovers normally keep their cars in garage just as all exotic car owners, we poor guys keep the model in the showcase aja lah. :yes!:

I cant understand how some would fit replicas (read: fake) wheels on such fine machines. If you have the $$$ for a nice car, go the extra mile and put good wheels. Its like wearing a designer Armani suite with Bata shoes.

3er: maybe you should focus on the HKS mushrooms instead..

oh yeah!
since there are 2 of them it'll be like ... um, silicone (read: fake) pecs with bra in armani suit? :D

Ok la - perhaps HKS may (or may not) improve things but fake wheels does nothing to improve performance.

Well, I think the silicon may befit the Armani suit, in fact it may be even more expensive than the suit itself. ;)

petrol cars:
5 liter: rm11,145 per year for road tax ( about rm928/mth)
5.6 liter: rm13,845 per year for road tax

can afford the car's roadtax provided i bought the car cash.....

I remember reading an issue of Performance BMW article on buying used 8 series, the 12 cylinders are the most problematic of the bunch - on top of the fact that the 8 series has notoriously poor reliability records. Most of the electronics inside are first generation designs with a lot of bugs. 8 series are going for very very low prices in the UK used car market.
