Hi guys I recently visited Chu Seng in Penang because my power steering pipe leaked.
He checked and said my fuel dampener vacuum switch was incorrectly connected to the engine.
He has changed the connection and I hope to see some improvement in fuel consumption.

Where is the fuel dampener vacuum? This is something new to my ears.

7 Series is not famous for fuel economy, it will not help regardless how you try to minimise it with after market fuel saving kit !

You're about to enter wrong ship if that what you looking for. Apart from that it's a old car. I found two major user for this type of car

1. Just want cheap car, moveable and safe car. Don't care how it look like
2. Collector who want to re-built to mint or may be show room condition.

But my e32 which share same type m30 of E23 can get as low as 10l/100km on plus highway constant 110 km/h drive, very very very comfort ,so you can save energy for your wife later on. City drive as high as 17l/100km.

Car Model: E23 728i
Car Year:1983
Engine Type:M30 (Auto)
Type of Fuel: Shell (green one...dun know what RON)
Engine Oil:Castrol/Shell mineral
Tires: Dunlop 195/70/R14
Any Fuel sapping add-on: air-con turn on full so compressor never cuts out (on highway)
Fuel saving add-on: lighten right foot
FC (Town): not yet test
FC (Highway): +-9L/100km (constant 110KM/h with light foot)

Comments:Engine need overhaul:D, mainly driven long distance only.
