Update to my earlier post:

Went down to Sepang to watch Japan GT last weekend, here's what I got for part of the trip:

Filled up in Ipoh, did this: Ipoh-KL(Segambut)-Sepang-KL(jammed, MRR2 to Tmn Melawati)-Sepang(Sunday)-Damansara-Tapah northbound rest stop Shell

Total distance 665km, pumped RM109, in usable numbers:

16.39 sen/km
8.54 litre/100km
11.71 km/litre

Could have been better if not for the jams and some pottling around northeastern KL looking for food. Highway cruising was at 90-105km/h in 90km/h zones and 110-140km/h in 110km/h zones.

Other info:
Tyre pressure: 260kPa rear, 240kPa front
Total additional payload (passenger + laptops + camera gears + luggage): 90-100kg

outstation I can go almost 800KM, i pump full tank around Rm 115, then go johor and back again till tank almost empty, btw, mine is E46 318i 1.9L, i am also very supprise coz its so fuel economy going outstation. car is stock standard, only change to 17" and K&N drop in

Thats very good.. at what average speed if i you don't mind me asking?

it helps also to keep the accelerator in constant ( cruise mode ) no excessive surge even while overtaking on NKVEs...

that'll definitely helps in good fuel consumption!
