Hi, I am new here. I am planning to bring a 535d UK spec to Malaysia. Any suggestion of where can I send this car for servicing once it arrive here?Also there is an issue about the diesel filter, do I need to change the filter or modify it in accordance to our Euro 2M diesel?kudeen

alamak ...535d ?..... basically this is 3.0 liter diesel with twin turbo. Our 530d is only single Garret turbo.

No need to modify lah...just periodically cahnge the fuel filter. You should be OK.

I noticed the 535d is not available in our market. Quite scepticle in bringing it here.

At first looking at the engine, 3 litre twin turbo, will surely burn my pocket. But after giving it a spin, pehhhh fuel consumption comparable to a honda accord 2.0.

Foreseen problem Euro 2M diesel inMalaysia compared to Euro 4 in UK.

Well, if the servicing of the fuel filter is the only thing need to be looked at, then problem solved.

Anu advice to where should I send it for regular servicing?

no prob for me to go central Bailey .. infact I arrive home (Kuantan) at abt 0300hrs this wee morning frm the Ampang TT (adjourned almost 0130 hrs:burnout:, I think..) ... still in a dazed actually after the afternoon golf with Iceman and Al bundy ...got skin like hell from Bundy .....
