5/10W50 engine oil

Semi no but fully yes.
Me using 5w-50 Mobil 1 (silver bottle) abt 2 weeks now, pretty ok. Fuel consumption also seems to have improved slightly from 25sen per km to 22 sen per km.
Remember I got mine from carrefour @ RM139.90 per bottle. Last weekend w/o promo price back to RM198.

Carrefour Sri Petaling still have the promo at RM139.90

So tempted to get more bottles.
I used to use Castrol Magnatec 10w-40 which costed me RM78 per bottle.I havent heard of semi 5w-50.
Anyway Cyrmson if u can still get Mobil 1 for RM139.90, I would suggest u go for it.
Semi change every 5000km RM78 x4 = RM312
Full change every 10000km RM140x2= RM280
FC save say 0.02 x 10000 already RM200
With Mobil 1 u could save RM232?

Well, seems like there is non in this viscosity for semi. Oo well. Now I'm using 5w40 Ravenol VSi. I think I need a thicker oil, so I'm opting for Q8 F1 10w50 next oil change. You may have seen in my other thread asking about Petronas and Q8 oil. But if Mobil 1 5w50 is still offered at carrefour for RM139/4 lit, I don't mind giving this a try. Thanks for the recommendation.
