Hi..need your guys help..i change my crack expansion radiator tank few week ago and 2 days ago i heard hissing sound coming when shutting off the engine. it just like preasure air coming out and i do not know the reason of it..have any body having the experience like this before..what is the fault and is anybody know how to fix it...tq

It could be due to radiator overfill.

Water expand when it is heated up. You should have some space for the water to expand.

The hissing sound normally air pressure increase due to coolant loss.
I have same experience end of last year. Then I notice that the radiator inlet plastic screw damage.
This plastic screw funtion as alternative way for mechanic to remove air pressure inside the coolant system while it still hot. Problem fixed after change the plastic screw.

I think something wrong with your engine coolant system. It could be some leakage.
Please check your coolant level oso..

If loss of too much coolant, then you will have engine overheating which cause the water to boil. Once water start to boil, it will also start to pressurize. Most probably, you will also get "Low Coolant" Alarm as well.

hi..tq for the info, just to ask u guys is it one of the problem due to gasket head failure as been consulting many friends as they said it might be one of the reason. If it really because of the gasket head problem how much it will cost me to fix it?..tq
