3 series remote.. (the fat one)

Hi All,i know that there are loads of functions with the remote.i would like to know more as;i got one remote that when press unlock, unlocks the drivers door only.press another time then unlocks all 4 doors.another remote (just changed battery) when press unlock once.. unlocks all 4 doors...can anyone please let me know whether there is some setting of sort or?also when press on the button long enough, the windows will open/close...any other functions?

guys... no one can help?
i read other forums and found that it is a programming on the key.

i tried to reprogram the key and now i have more problems...

reprogram the key which i followed;
1) unlock car with the master key (key where all the functions work)
2) get into car and close all doors.
3) turn the key in the ignition to the first function. this is the programming function.
4) turn off the ignition and remove master key
5) Press and hold unlock and press lock 3 times.
6) let go all buttons.
7) the car should lock and unlock to state that key has been programmed.

is all those steps correct?
i followed and now the key does not lock or unlock no more. dammit....

i urgently need some HELP

have you try setting the remote (that only can unlock the driver side door) ?
slot in the remote, and go to setting, you will see the 4 doors open sign, and select it...
