hi guys,i'm new to bmw, hope can do some proper survey before any dump action taken. i'm planning to get a e36 325i (auto), which would like to transplant it to either M series engine or japanese heart.would like to know either the original 325i engine+g/b+wiring+others can be trade? and how much would be the value? thx for all the comments.

If u want to convert to M series ......I think better buy a ori M3 .......

Convert to M3 is not cheap and not easy .......

Try PM Hitman .....he selling his M3 .....

Btw welcum and enjoy ur stay here ....

Just met Hitman last sunday, his M3 still up for sale

can i know wat are the component involve? engine+g/b+wiring+ecu+laborship+jpj endorsement? is it auto tran? thx..

hi bro.. i think the only way you can get a decent market value for your engine is if you find a direct buyer. mechanics, or half-cut shops will pay you very little for it. especially if you trade it in at a halfcut shop for an m3 halfcut.

hitmans M3 is a 94 registered 95, 3.0litre, 5spd manual. schnitzer modified. the car used to belong to mahathirs son.

if you buy the 325 cheap, you will still need to fork out lots of cash to do the conversion, as lionel said, nothing less than RM20,000.. i think its better to dump the cash in as d/payment, and get the real deal.

20k only for the halfcut.......if you can find one

btw most of the m3 parts you need for conversion need to buy new.....thats waiting 1-2 weeks in between jobs, i know a guy that had to wait in total 6 months and work in progress was somewhat slow as parts ordered were ad hoc basis.....you heard of the car they call "always in the workshop...."

believe me hitman's m3 is about anytime better than a converted e36 m3, and its not your normal m3 engine in there too

unless you want to totally customize the car, then that's anuder story
