My SA told me they are bringing in 220i coupe and coupe sports for est price RM260k and RM280k respectively.

Only the 220i? According to other news, they said BMW Malaysia might bring in 10 units of the new M235i as well

The 1M was launched at more than half a million the last time and they only had 3. If my memory serves me right, it started off at RM509k

if thats true its really exp considering 125i M-Sport is RM253,800

I'm actually pretty interested with the 220i but if the crank up the price above RM260k then it will not be worth the moolah spent on it...

But honestly, RM280k for everything and only getting 184bhp, that is a little weak coming from BMW. Priced too expensively, looks like the M235i might be even costlier or perhaps they may head towards recon sellers instead!

Don't think there has ever been any CKD coupes., so unlikely to be the case.

It would be cool if there were CKD 2-series. Hopefully it brings the price down. What makes me pissed is that a 2-series is more expensive than a 3-series. Only in Malaysia

That's what I was thinking, a good 20k-40k higher than 3 series, very bold of BMW. I'm sure it would sell as well!

Yes the 220i is rated at a lower horsepower. Sources say that BMW will launch the 228i in the next couple of months. Not confirmed yet though.

Went to quill the other day. They said 228i will never come to Malaysia and m235i is estimated to be around half a mil.
