People, I am planning to change out the water pump as a preventive measure. My car has done about 127K and I think it is prudent to change it now as I heard that the plastic impeller won't last that long. Anyone know where to get the metal impeller type and how much? My mechanic seems to suggest that I should change it into the original plastic type but I am not convinced. He quoted a price of RM200 plus for it. What is a reasonable price for the original plastic impeller pump? Feedbacks are much appreciated. Thanks.
