Hi, I'm wondering if anybody has tried 19" rims on their E39. If so, what are the problems associating with doing that? What would the offset be?Thanks.

Beware, there is one major problem if you doing this, you will get one serious "side effect" for this..,

the "side effect" is whoever stand beside your car will get jeolous lah...

ciao.

Hi Mr Wang, what tyres do you use? P Zero or PS2 or ??? Tyres are expensive in Butterworth and I don't know why, how much would 4 of these in 245/35 R19 cost in KL?

Seems like the estimated cost to achieve this KILLER look would be:

Rims : RM6500 (assume rims made in Italy)
Tyres: RM4000 (assume using Toyo)
Total : RM10, 500 minimum

To Dato Seri Baily, I'm counting the coins gotten out from my shattered Penny bank. After which I will check all my bank accounts, pawn my Seiko watch and Nokia handphone to see if I can raise this amount. If someone can reccommend a better deal I may keep my Seiko watch.

19" on E39 best to get original... if replicas might be bit heavy for the car... if really wanna go for replicas get some simple and nice wheels...

halo amax...my current 19" light than last time 18" le...depends on wat brand choosing...hehehe

GO GET THOSE 19" BRO! - You'll love the look......

Should be no problems as your car is a rear wheel drive and no problems of 'front drive shaft' giving way!! DO IT bro!

i have "19 Hartge rims on my E39. They are wrapped with Toyo Trampio 245/35 ZR 19 93W. Similar new rubber is around Rm915+ per piece but takes two weeks to order so a spare is important (i don't have a matching rim) while waiting for new tyres. maybe buy one extra and keep in your house :)
