Hehehe i already have a manual gearbox :4: Upgraded engine internals is required only for ESS TS Stage 3 (low comp pistons, injectors and etc). That's why i'm surprised to see the hp power it's making on the ESS TS2+ (cams, smaller pulley) ... Yes i agree there is plenty of room for modding the M54B30 the only problem is tuning you may have to send your ecu to Norway or to the US... If i remember correctly there's one E46 TS2 owner that have done 163mph on the autobahn with 5 speed gearbox and with a 2.93 diffs at 6.6-6.7k rpm :4: There's a video of it
 
There must be more to the engine than meets the eye for it to make the claimed 430bhp/480Nm.. on a TS2+ summore.

BUT then again,even a normal 8psi TS2 does wonders to the M54... sublime kit that.Should have kept mine and bought a Z3 3.0 M54:(

i heard Bernard of BVO can also tune ESS TS2 kits..not necessarily need to send ur ecu all the way to Norway or US

The M54B30 has a lot of potential, just depends how far the owner is willing to go. One coming soon, will be a rad build. Will be fun to test with, he should spank me since its a lighter car.

When you buy the TS kit, you dont have to send the ecu back. And since you're paying for the full kit, I'd rather get the tune from ESS rather than someone else. If you've seen the tune from ESS, you know its rock solid. Why take the chance on getting on someone else, rather from the creator of the kit? The reason you're paying ESS top dollar is for the plug and play ease of the kit, rock solid tune and reliability.

The ESS TS blower is only 1.6l. There's another blower that is 2.1l, which is nuts. I'm hoping the candidate decides to go ahead on the project, and we'll see what miraculous power it achieves. Hint, it should be on par +/- with my E34, and should be able to spank the new M5 with ease :D Miracles of boost

My hamsap bro, I tried to boost my cuntchills with tongkat ali, kopi janda etc but to no avail. Instead I overboost myself.
4 hours is too long la, my ball will get itchy. Must reach KL fast to release the boost

The Siput King has spoken :4: Bro i assume when you say 2.1l it's another twinscrew charger made by a different company? How about tuning or there's ready made tune already for the M54B30 for the 2.1l unit?
