Hey guys, Came across this guy who just put these beautiful lightweight forged rims + tyres for sale which is a perfect fit for the E46. After conversion its RM8k. The rims are in very high demand and there is no stock in Singapore or KL for E90 at this time with a waiting list of about 2 months! Grab it quick heh. http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/bazaar-bmw-parts-accessories/22734-fs-forged-volk-racing-me-19-wheels.html

yeah i agree the design looks so well with E46, there's another white E46 in Spore using the same wheel...

but, i'm so against putting jap wheels on my car....i choose bbs rs-gt/ch/rk over this anytime. furthermore, if u dun have big disc or BBK, forget it la....otherwise ur car will look very funny with those wide gaps

Heh.. why so racist against the Japanese LOL? Actually the Japanese have one of the finest and most advanced manufacturing processes in the world. Even lots of BBS wheels are manufactured in Japan by BBS Japan. Enkei also makes great racing wheels often found in F1.

At the end it boils down to personal preferences I guess. But for Forged 19's wheels, you wont find a better option. All the other wheels by guys like Breyton, Hartge, ACS, are heavier cosmetic cast wheel, in that price range (actually cost much more). I look at the Volks as the "poor man's" Neez wheel hehe.

no la, not racist....i just feel the same way whenever i see a honda civic/accord with the AC Type 4. But of course those are reps and these volks are way classier, not aple to apple comparo.

speaking about advanced manufacturing process....korea is one of the best too.....let's buy a Kia???

Haha... Good point. Blows my analogy out of the water LOL. I used to also think that BMWs should only be shod with BMW tuner wheel brands, but after looking and learning more about wheels, I think the Japs make one of the finest wheels around. I am now a convert.

Check out this thread... A lot of good technical info on wheel manufacturing process and of course, yummy pics!

All bout NEEZ

yeah, my bimmer having 18 inches OZ racing. it's a german and japanese combination. it's running fine and it's looks cool as well.

thanks,
keane

The Japs seem to be targeting exotic wheels towards the euro car makes. Here's another super lightweight high quality Japanese forged wheel by Schmieden (even sounds german lol).

Schmieden Indivi - Sui or not? for 19's it weighs only 8-9kgs. Amazing.

saw the NEEZ (i think) on one of the 335 coupe at the tire shop i that i frequent

spoke to owner and he said he ordered from japan

pergh the black one...salivating now, got for E46 ar? i have to telan my own words now haha

Rays Wheels are definately the way to go, those Volks are tasty.

Enkei has the GTC-01 that look very similar to the those Volks.

19" Schmieden Indivi on E60. Hyper Black. Very light rims at 9.5~10.5 kg. Big difference in driving/handling experience compared to 16kg 18" BMW rims w/ RFT. Lighter rims save petrol
