just earn enuf $$ to buy a e46 year 99,i heard from frend this is the lowest maintainence car?(for bmw)...i wish to change my steering wheel to 3 spoke multifunction steering,any suggestion?...:top:

hey surefire, welcome to the forum. i see you've had some good advise from your friend.

here's my little advise, buying a second hand car is no joke. make sure the previous owner has detailed service records and do also take the effort to get the car checked by a bmw specialist to verify the details and condition. you need to set money aside to do the minor repairs. no car is free from maintenance. it all depends on how the previous owner has maintained the car and how old the car is also a factor.
