Go straight for the BMS PowerBox... Hp and torque increase right away after installation! Unlike sprint booster which increase response during acceleration.
Price-wise similar to sprint booster provided you know the right way to buy it :4: or else prepare to pay RM3200 for one unit!

IMHO... re-mapping and PowerBox has their own pros and cons... re-mapping will take a long period of time! PowerBox is plug & play and you will feel instant difference once you drive the car! My cousin installed one on his 523i and now his car is on par with my 525i in terms of acceleration and torque... I think some time not long ago in one of the threads here.. a forumer from Singapore (sorry forgot his name) mentioned that E60 523i with PowerBox will have the same output with 525i! I don't know how true is this coz my cousin didn't do dyno on his ride after that but one thing for sure is the instant power... even I can feel it :4:

Sad..mine not magnesium engine so the only option is sprintbooster for plug and play

Bro... there is something else called "Tuning Box" for M54 engine
Click on this link which I found on eBay Tuning Box
Hope your E60 falls into one of the categories :top:
And if you are not contented with the power... consider to change to lightweight pulley (only for M54 but not N52 engine) which will definitely give you extra 10% on top of your stock HP :4: I think about RM1700-2000 to change. Let me know if you are interested and I'll guide you from there!

Depends on the manufacturer lo :4: and also buy from established mod shop ok? How I know? Coz my brother had installed onto his E46 320i with M54 engine..
