WTB: E30 M40 back box

hi all... looking for e30 m40 back box. want a very very quite one.... anybody got it? one exhaust shop offer me 2nd hand e36 back box. can fix to my e30?thanks in advance....

flow wise; if the backbox from 1.8 litre engine, i don't think much different but physical size wise and shape, i don't know whether can install to e30 or not. good luck

Yes. One sifu has done this to his E30. E30 with E36 backbox. Can be done with minor mods. Good luck!

are you referring to exhaust muffler when you mentioned back box?

well... i am driving e30 m40 with e36 m40 muffler...

it's quieter and the humm is deeper... does it improve FC? i cant tell coz my old muffler already bocor when i did the change...

the only trick is to tilt the muffler so that it clears all the things that is hanging around it.

...it can be fitted to your e30.. no problemo...:listen:...you need to do some modification to the outlet tips so that it can suit your e30 bumper...i luv to attach a pic for better illustration.. but too bad i've sold it for quite some time now..
