Frankly, if I had the choice of the two cars with almost similar performance specs, I would have went for the E34. There is just something sleek and sexy about the lines of that generation. The E39, let's be honest, looks a bit pudgy when put next to the E34.And with good reason: from what i have been told, the entire BMW range during that generation (E30, E32, E34) was the only time they were styled by an Italian, if you don't count in the Zagato concept cars.
