[QUOTE="Lee36328, post: 8641, member: 113"] Was using the local version of the BMW windscreen all this while, until a crack appeared and I was forced to change. As usual, the workshop recommended the local windscreen again, saying that it is cheaper and just as good.Decided to live dangerously and go against the advice. Got the original BMW windscreen from Germany. The differences:1. Ori German pricier than local version, of course, but not dramatically so2. No tint at the top for ori German vs. tinted blue at the top for local version3. Where previously it was positively howling and whistling, it is now a gentle murmur. Caveat, I am not sure whether the wind noise reduction was entirely due to a better quality windscreen, or whether the windscreen glue joint/lining was better done this time round.
