Kinglazy,

I believe the price quoted of RM380 to repair the 3 small chips would not differ much from the actual windscreen shops (perhaps less RM50.00). If I were you, I would just replaced the whole windscreen and made a claim with your insurance company via the windscreen shop. Just bring along your insurance policy, driving license and NRIC and sign on the dotted line and the shop will take care of the rest. No payment is required and you get a new windscreen.

I use No. 5.

Danny charges one spot RM120 and every inch from the spot (crack line) additional RM10/inch. So 3 spots with no growth lines, only RM120x3 = RM360. Can mintak discount la because you now have 3 spots. I'm guessing RM250, good luck!

Just wanted to share, went to Edward at Autoglass, great guy to deal with and great price too! Highly recommended and also great customer service. Even gave me a free car wash!

After repair, went to re-tint with Raytech! Also good experience with them and happy with their workmanship!

Raytech is one of our Club Vendor. Normally they give preferential discounts to Official Members. When you want to become an Official Member, email your application to fadhlan@gmail.com.

You can call Mr Suresh at 0122222245. He does mobile service. His price starts from RM 80 onwards for each chip. His office is located at Bandar Kinrara.

Just to share, I did mine today at 75, I complain to the uncle " I did it at 50 last time.

and what's that AS?
it means my windscreen Kena batu bro... So sad. Since its 20cent size i plan to just fix it instead of claim insurance, hate the trouble to leave my car at the workshop

Any cheap yet good near Sri hartamas or segambut?

I always go to the shop near SS2/Sek17 in PJ.The one near nasi daun pisang atas bukit one...PJ people would know.

Need advise from all the sifus, my windscreen 'kena pebble' and left with a 5 cents coin chip and small crack (like gun shot). Is it advisable to repair or to replace the whole windscreen? Currently my windscreen is tinted with v-kool, do I need to replace the tint film if I choosed to repair? Thanks.

Looks like quite serious. It's better you get one of the windscreen repair companies to have a closer look if it is repairable. Only change the windscreen if it is not repairable and may be a hazard. The tinting will need to change also if you are changing the glass

Thanks splee. Do I need to change the tint film if the windscreen can be repaired?

The tinting is installed on the inner glass surface and the cracks is on the outer side if your windscreen. The tinting film should be intact and there is no need to replace it unless the cracks is so deep and it cut your tinting film too.

Thanks Splee. The tint still intact. I will get a windscreen Dr to access it first before decide on th solution.

Unable to repair my windscreen due to permanon coating applied prior to this. Managed just to 'squeeze' in some 'resin' through the 'crack' (considered partial repaired but not perfect) and it is FOC.:2:

So after repair can get Paintshield Glenmarie to put a sticker on the windscreen to avoid more mild stone chips..i've seen it already. great prodcut
