Anyone here got a spare bracket for the E36 front fog light (left) and left side fog light? Mine broke coz the bracket was already broken, and the fog light was dangling on the road when I went over a speed bump...as a result, the fog lamp was broken too :( I know these items are available from accessories shop, but was wondering if anyone has spares at home.PM me if u guys have it, thanks

I got a pair of brackets:rolleyes:

Jeffrey taikor, can PM your best price? By the way, is the bracket standard? Mine is face-lifted bumper (post-97). If everything's ok, maybe we could meet up.

Thanks

A big thank you to Jeffrey for the brackets :top:... will get the brackets and new fog lights fixed ASAP.

Finally, bought a new set of DEPO Fog light (L+R) for my E36.

1) The old unit, showing how the fog light is secured in the bracket (before clipping it in to secure 100%)

2) The old unit, 100% secured in the bracket once you push it in

3) New set of DEPO fog light (L+R)... made in Taiwan

6) Knowing very well that these light units are prone to water leaking in, decided to seal them up with Silicone Sealant and use the fan to dry it up... (some minor DIY)

7) And finally, managed to get these fog lights fixed onto the car... :top:

Yeah, special thanks to Jarance (for helping me to fixed the fuel sender wire) and Jeffreyewe (for the fog light brackets and the contact number of the spare part shop).

Got it done up on time for my brother's wedding.

Russie... How much for the New set of DEPO fog light (L+R)... made in Taiwan?

Ok, for the benefits of fellow members and forummers, I think it is ok to post the price of the fog lights I bought.

DEPO fog light for E36, bought at RM90 per piece (2 pieces = RM180) and yeah, they are made in Taiwan.

To be safe, better put some DIY effort to seal up the gaps using silicone sealant on the brand new units before installing them :) *just in case water leaks in*

Cheers

Russie,
Mind sharing where you bought the DEPO Taiwan Made fog light?

Thanks
