Where is the best place to refurbish rims

HI all,Need some info, where is tyhe best place to refurbish rims. I did once but the result really frustated me. Got dented on outside lips for both rear rims but after refurbished the results still not much different. The paint job also like a garbage.:motz:

Do a quick search and you will find lots of threads been discussing this issue.... Anywhere, I did mine 'via' MPS Auto (Manji will lend u a set of rims plus tyres if he has the stock) in Bandar Sunway.

Alpina softlline 18"..did recently at sg chua kajang, the charge quite cheap for ketuk (2 rims) & paint (4 rims) only rm450..but unfortunetly the result so frustated..so how the Ah Tee job, are you satisfied? need directions to go there..

JulianPang has recently done his rim (Style 32 for E34) there and the result was really good. I've seen it personally at the shop. They do their own refurb, they have a refurbish workshop about 3 shops away from their tyre shop. Most other tyre shop send to other places to do refurbishments.

Wheen recon is a refurbish factory, no facility to remove and refit tyre. No loan rims. You have to bring the rims only to them.

How much they charge u..

Did mine in Jan 2011. The rim refurnishment alone cost me RM650 for a set of 17". But the total bill came around RM1K (balancing, alignment, 6% government tax, & 2% credit card charges). Sorry... no photo to show but am quite happy with the result.

Just to share with fellow members on my recent rims refurb job @ Heap Soon, Segambut.

Total price paid = RM570 (Oven-baked paint for 4 wheels, repair for 2 wheels, alignment, off-wheel balancing and on-wheel balancing inclusive).

Can try there for total refurb bro. Can vouch for their workmanship. Color and coating is even. Will monitor after extensive usage and wash.
