The ori usually forged rims unless stated casted. The Taiwan are casted rims. Forged rims are stronger than a casted rims so less material needed to construct the rims = lighter than casted rims.
My 19" rims, ori BMW style 220, 8.5x19" weight is 11 kg compared to HRE C20 8.5x19" weight of 8.5kg. Both are forged but the C20 is a 3-piece rim.
That is reflected with the higher price for the forged rims. If bmw ori rims then add some more for the brand name.
