Usually car nuts (including myself) would "pandai-pandai" and not follow the interval due to own past experience. I disagree of the placebo effect as the car that I once followed the manufacture interval was building up sludges. The pity guy is the new owner of the then secondhand unit . In europe the car price do not cost an arm and a leg.
