[QUOTE="Slide, post: 565952, member: 293"] a 2.0 turbo engine @ 1.5barboost pressure is the equivalent of a 3.0 na engine. a 320d really should only be compared to a n/a 3.0 engine and above as i think 320ds now boost at 2.0 bar? but in malaysia who knows, maybe its still only 1.5bar . and when you look at it that way , the 320d really is below average in terms of its output. which makes sence, cause in the RoW its used as a fleet car and is valued for its economy and not perfromance. most of the guys who shout about how good it is, are probably new to owning a car with this level of power and torque, hence they are blown away with the performance. so i suggest, the rest of you, who know what driving a 3.0 and above feels like, let it slide..... i will always be in the camp that nothing sounds like a bmw inline six and there will always be 1 in my garage. its just different strokes for different folks.
