yeap...its used for low visibility to let drivers from behind be more aware. if both lights are turned on, it might confuse plp from behind as they will think its brake light or just bright lights...having one side will physiological make drivers aware.on the down side, many plp will think that there's a faulty bulb on another side (they might say:kononnya bmw..) :hahaha:
