What to look out for and what to do when buying a new BMW?

Hi all. I'm looking to buy a 2nd hand BMW, and I'm interested to know what advice the people here have for me... what should I look for when viewing the car.. say common problematic areas on a BMW. I have also read anxious' thread saying something about modic test and compression test. I would like to know where and how much these test are, and if those test are actually necessary to do when getting the car. I hope that you can give as much info as possible. Any help would be very very much appreciated... and thanks in advance. :rock:

Look for BMW that has a BMW Club Malaysia sticker! Confirm good buy!

Do u have any friends that drives BMW, and still keeping one ?? If yes, talk to them.

If I were to tell u what to look out for, u will end up getting a brand new BMW.. that's what I did..
