what sound is this?

Everytime I switched off the engine after a ride I can hear the tick tick tick sound. Where does it comes from? Is it normal?thanks

It is normal. It is the contraction of the exhaust system.

If that is from the outside, then its the exhaust system cooling very quickly. It goes to about 800 deg F near the headers, actually new cars like my wife's toyota does it.

If it is in your dash sounding that sound of motors, there is no ghost in there!. Its the motors returning to the shut positon for the vents in there. Sometimes they get stuck and times out after a while. Again, nothing to worry about.
